Love in a Box

Each year the community of St Nicholas collect gifts for children in places where poverty in rife and they are sent out under the banner of 'Love in a Box'.   The campaign includes a service of thanksgiving and a formal handing over of the gifts which includes helping to load them in the van which will deliver the gifts.

In 2006 we collected in excess of 600 boxes and they were handed over on 17 November 2006 at Bean Youth Centre.
